Benjamin Dyck, CPA
With over 20 years of as an accountant in the Lakeland area, Ben brings a strong understanding of both personal and business financial needs. He is known for his integrity and commitment to delivering quality personalized services. Ben's approach is rooted in building long-term relationships, providing trusted advice, and helping clients achieve their goals with peace of mind.
As a strong leader and mentor, Ben fosters a positive, team-oriented environment within the firm. Whether mentoring emerging professionals or advising long-standing business owners, Ben is committed to helping others succeed both personally and professionally.
Ben is a dedicated community member, actively supporting local initiatives that contributed to the strength and vitality of the Lakeland region.
Recently, Ben expanded his practice to support Canadian expats living abroad. He enjoys working with clients overseas to ensure the remain compliant with Canadian tax requirements, while maximizing available benefits and minimizing stress. By helping expats navigate the complexities of taxation while outside the country, Ben enables them to focus on what matters most, reaping the benefits of their hard work.
Samantha Walker-Dean, CPA
In 2025 Samantha partnered with Benjamin Dyck to form Dyck & Walker-Dean LLP. Samantha began working for Benjamin Dyck, CPA in 2019 as a student after receiving her Bachelor’s Degree with Honors in Accounting from NAIT in 2018, and a diploma in Management with Distinction from Portage College, right here in Cold Lake, in the same year. In 2024 Samantha received her Chartered Professional Accounting designation.
With a love of continuing education, and an enthusiasm to provide the best services to her home-town clients, she enrolled in the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program and anticipates completion in 2027.
Her passions led to a specialization for corporate tax and financial statement preparation for small and medium sized businesses across various industries in the Lakeland area. She loves to meet with clients one-on-one to understand their needs and answer their accounting and tax related questions. She believes that giving clients peace of mind when it comes to understanding their business, is the top priority.
Samantha is a proud mother of four young adults who were raised, like her, in the beautiful city of Cold Lake.
Sonya Reardon, Personal Tax Manager
Sonya received her Accounting Diploma from the University College of Cape Breton, and has spent 9 years working in the field. She joined Dyck & Walker-Dean in February of 2014. Sonya's free time is spent at the hockey arena with her 2 boys.

Kim Wojcik, Bookkeeper
Kim worked for the firm back in 2009 and ended up leaving in 2014. She came back in 2022 to prepare personal tax returns and joined the team permanently in the fall as a bookkeeper. Born in Nova Scotia, Kim moved to Cold Lake in 2001. She has a passion for animals and loves spending time with her family.
Caitlyn Sales, Senior Accounting Technician
Caitlyn received her certificate for Accounting Technician through Portage in 2016, and completed her practicum at Dyck & Walker-Dean, CPA's in May of that same year. She has been working here since October 2016. Born and raised in the area, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, being at home with her dog and cats, and crafting.
Aleas Eryou, Bookkeeper
Aleas joined Dyck & Walker-Dean in August 2021. She has her Administrative Professional Certificate. She enjoys learning new things and thrives on helping others. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and loves to bake.

Anjella started as a tax preparer in March 2024 and joined the firm permanently in June 2024.

Administrative Assistant
Audrey joined the team in 2024. In May 2025 she completed her diploma in Accounting, Tax and Payroll. She is passionate about learning and enjoys reading in her spare time. Outside of work, she values quality time with her friends and family.
